Our Purpose
AKA Missing was established out of the determination gained through personal loss and struggle, and of compassion for others who share in this same story of family tragedy.
Yes, these are "personal problems", "family issues", "bad divorces", but these are American kids abducted from our soil! This is everyone's problem, this is America's problem.
Pursuing the return of parentally abducted children internationally is emotionally heartbreaking, financially crushing, and full of bureaucracy and legal loopholes.
This is a personal battle the left behind parent must fight or be conquered by, but as a nation who's citizen has been taken against their will and against the laws of this land, the war is all of ours.
Time is of the essence in such cases and AKA Missing looks to be a "first line" resource of information to begin the process. We also wish to be a resource in maintaining the momentum of established cases through assistance in fundraising efforts, and emotional support.
AKA Missing is prepared to accomplish great things by bringing to public light this crime and providing new rays of hope for those whose rights and children have been taken from them. We have an unyielding sense of purpose to help reestablish the parenting rights of those whose children where wrongfully and illegally abducted.
